Risk disclaimer

Draft for legal review.

Trading involves substantial risk

Trading stocks, crypto-assets, foreign exchange (forex), indices, commodities and leveraged products such as contracts for difference (CFDs) and futures carries a high level of risk. Crypto-assets are highly volatile and largely unregulated, and you can lose all of the money you put in. Meme coins carry extreme additional risk: prices are driven by hype rather than fundamentals, liquidity can disappear instantly, and scams such as rug pulls, honeypot tokens and pump-and-dump schemes are common. Leverage can work against you as well as for you, and you can lose more than you deposit. Most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

No advice

GhostTrader provides general education and software tools. Nothing on this website, in our guides, emails or the trading lab — including AI-generated analysis — is personal investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Consider your circumstances and, where appropriate, get independent advice from a licensed adviser.

Simulated and hypothetical results

Paper-trading and backtest results are hypothetical. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, don’t involve real money, and don’t reflect all costs (such as slippage, swaps and commissions) or the psychological pressure of real trading. Past or simulated performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
